Tracly is a household inventory app for iOS. It helps you track everything you own, log anything you lend out, and stay on top of maintenance schedules for home hardware — all offline, with optional cloud sync for families.
Yes. The free tier is a real, fully-functional tier — not a trial. You get up to 25 items, 3 active loans, and 3 hardware entries with no time limit. Optional paid plans (Pro at $2.99/mo and Household at $4.99/mo) remove those caps and add cloud features.
Yes — every feature works completely offline. Your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. Cloud sync is only used on the Household plan and only when you're connected. It's an extra layer, never a requirement.
Tracly is an iOS app. It runs on iPhone and is built with Expo / React Native. Android support is not available at this time.

Tracly uses email OTP (one-time passcode) sign-in. Enter your email address, and we'll send you a code. No password to create or remember. If you don't have an account yet, one is created automatically on first sign-in.
Yes. Tracly requires a verified email address for all users. This ensures your data can be safely associated with cloud features (if you use the Household plan) and keeps the system clean. Anonymous sign-in is not supported.
Email us at tracly@saiftechllc.com with your account email and we'll delete your account and all associated cloud data promptly. Local data on your device can be removed by uninstalling the app.

Inventory is for tracking items you own — room, category, serial number, notes, photos. Loan Ledger is for logging anything you lend to someone, with optional due-back dates and automatic reminders. Lifespan is for hardware and maintenance — set a replacement interval and Tracly alerts you before and after it's due.
Box-Link lets you generate QR codes for physical boxes and rooms. Stick the code on the box, scan it later with Tracly, and instantly see everything assigned to it. It bridges your physical storage with your digital inventory — no typing, no searching. Box-Link is local only and not synced to the cloud.
When you log a loan with a due-back date, Tracly schedules up to 4 notifications: on the due date, then 3, 7, and 14 days overdue. Without a due date, it nudges you 7 and 14 days after the loan was made. All notifications fire at 9am and are cancelled the moment you mark the item returned.
Tracly calculates the next replacement date from the last replaced date plus the interval you set. It schedules up to 5 notifications: 14 days before, 7 days before, on the due date, and 7 and 14 days overdue. When you tap "Log Replacement", the date resets and all notifications are rescheduled automatically.
Yes. Photos are stored locally in the app's private file system on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers and are never visible to household members — even if the item is shared. They're personal reference shots that stay on your device.
iCloud backup saves a copy of all your local data (items, loans, hardware, boxes, and rooms) to your personal iCloud account. It runs automatically every time the app goes to the background (max once every 5 minutes). On a fresh install with an empty database, Tracly will offer to restore from your backup automatically. You can also trigger backup and restore manually from Settings.

The free tier includes all Tracly features with the following caps: up to 25 items, 3 active loans, and 3 hardware entries. There's no time limit — it's a permanent free tier for light users. Cloud sync and family sharing are not available on the free tier.
Pro is $2.99/month and removes all item, loan, and hardware caps. It's a solo plan — everything stays local on your device. You also get Box-Link QR codes and iCloud backup. No cloud sync, no family sharing.
Household is $4.99/month and includes everything in Pro plus cloud sync across all your devices and family sharing for up to 5 members (1 owner + 4 members). Members of the household can sync even without their own subscription.
Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple. Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone and cancel from there. Cancel at least 24 hours before your next renewal date to avoid being charged. We have no ability to process cancellations or refunds directly.
If the owner's Household subscription lapses, shared items become inaccessible to all members until the subscription is renewed. A banner appears on Inventory, Loan Ledger, and Lifespan screens for both the owner and members. Each member's own local data is completely unaffected.
Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to override Apple's refund decisions.

By default, all your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. On the Household plan, items, loans, and hardware entries you explicitly share are also synced to our secure cloud (Supabase). Photos and Box-Link data are always local only, regardless of plan.
No. Sharing is opt-in per item. Each item, loan, and hardware entry has a share toggle in its detail view — only entries you explicitly turn on are visible to household members. Everything else remains private.
No. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own purposes. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Cloud sync requires an active Household subscription and an internet connection. Check that you're signed in (Settings → Account) and that your Household subscription is active. You can also trigger a manual sync from Settings. If the status shows "Sync failed", try force-quitting the app and reopening it. If the issue persists, email us at tracly@saiftechllc.com.
Local data is stored on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. If you had iCloud backup enabled, Tracly will automatically offer to restore on first launch after a fresh install. Go to Settings → iCloud Backup and tap "Restore" if the prompt didn't appear. If you were on the Household plan, your shared cloud data will re-sync after you sign in.
Make sure notifications are enabled for Tracly in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications → Tracly. Notifications are scheduled when you add a loan with a due-back date or a hardware entry with an interval — they won't appear for entries added before permissions were granted. Try deleting and re-adding the entry to reschedule the notifications.
Go to Settings in Tracly and tap "Restore Purchases". This refreshes your subscription status from the App Store. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. If the issue persists, email us at tracly@saiftechllc.com with your Apple ID email and we'll look into it.
